One, Two, Cha Cha Cha

There comes a point, with every one of my paintings, where I feel like I'm dancing to a song I've never heard before with someone I've never met.  This is where the stranger and I are right now; what happens next is anyone's guess.  I've included a couple detail shots below to give a sense of the surface:

  1. Ooh, this is fascinating. I love the textures, and I'm especially interested in that light peachy, orangey color--up close and as it glows in the overall painting. It provides an interesting counter to the lemon glow that's in the upper right corner. This is the mystery for me, and I'm drawn to it. I love watching this process, Nancy!
P.S. Guess what book is being printed this week?
